The Diamond Horseshoe is the western-themed hall tucked behind Liberty Square, a few steps from the Rivers of America. It reopens on October 4, 2026 as a lounge, serving small plates and specialty drinks rather than the family-style meal it ran for years.

It has spent much of the last decade opening for busy seasons and closing again, so a reopening with a menu of its own is the first time in a while that booking it has been worth planning around.

The booking window is not the usual one

Disney is releasing reservations at 8:00 PM Eastern on September 29, which is its own decision rather than the standard schedule — every other table at the resort follows the rules covering when do Disney World dining reservations open, at 6:00 AM Eastern.

An evening release changes who is actually at a screen when the window opens. A first-day scramble at an unfamiliar hour is where most people lose a table they had every intention of booking.

Why it is likely to be hard to get

The room is small and the offering is time-limited, so there are fewer sittings on sale than a permanent restaurant of the same footprint would carry.

Disney has also said walk-ins will be taken when there is space, signposted at the door. That usually means only part of the room is sold in advance, which leaves less to go around.
