The Diamond Horseshoe reservations and alerts
A Wild West music hall in Liberty Square, back as a limited-time lounge with small plates, cocktails and nonalcoholic specialty drinks. The room is small and part of it is kept for walk-ins, so booked tables are scarce.

“Park Drop consistently found Disney dining reservations we couldn’t get ourselves.” — Emily M.
A saloon at the back of Liberty Square
The Diamond Horseshoe is the western-themed hall tucked behind Liberty Square, a few steps from the Rivers of America. It now runs as a lounge, serving small plates, cocktails and nonalcoholic specialty drinks rather than the family-style meal it ran for years.
It has spent much of the last decade opening for busy seasons and closing again, and Disney sells this run as a limited-time offering, so the dates on sale will not last indefinitely.
For a full meal close by, Liberty Tree Tavern serves family-style platters in Liberty Square.
A lounge, not a full meal
Think of it as a drink and a few small plates in an Old West music hall, a sit-down break in a long Magic Kingdom day rather than the evening’s main meal.
If your dates are more than two months out, read when Disney World dining reservations open before you start watching.
Why tables are hard to get
The room is small and the offering is time-limited, so there are fewer sittings on sale than a permanent restaurant of the same footprint would carry.
Disney has also said walk-ins will be taken when there is space, signposted at the door. That usually means only part of the room is sold in advance, which leaves less to go around.
When tables come back
A sold-out date is not the end of it. Across the openings we have measured, most availability returns close to the date rather than at the booking window — see when sold-out Disney World dining reservations open for what the pattern actually looks like.
Park Drop watches The Diamond Horseshoe around the clock and sends an email and a text the moment a table matching your dates and party size appears, with a link straight to the booking page.
The Diamond Horseshoe reservation FAQs
Is The Diamond Horseshoe permanent?
No. Disney sells it as a limited-time offering, so book while your dates are on sale rather than counting on a later visit.
What does The Diamond Horseshoe serve?
Small plates, cocktails and nonalcoholic specialty drinks. Disney’s site has the current menu and prices.
Can I walk in without a reservation?
Disney has said walk-ins will be accommodated when space allows, with signage at the door showing whether seating is available. Booking ahead is still the only way to be sure of a table.
Do I need Magic Kingdom admission?
Yes. The Diamond Horseshoe is inside the park in Liberty Square, so you need valid admission for that day to reach it.
Is it a full meal?
Not really. It is set up as a lounge, so plan on a drink and a couple of plates rather than dinner.
Can Park Drop alert me when a Diamond Horseshoe table opens?
Yes. Set your dates, party size and time window, and Park Drop monitors availability 24/7, sending an email and text the moment a matching table drops.
