Wine Country Trattoria serves Italian dishes with California touches, inside the same park as World of Color.

The package pairs that meal with a reserved spot for the show over Paradise Bay.

It is one of only a handful of table-service restaurants in the park, which keeps its evening tables in steady demand.

Why packages are tight

World of Color is the main event of a Disney California Adventure evening, and reserved viewing takes the guesswork out of it. The packages are matched to individual performances, which caps how many can be sold each night.

Weekends and holiday periods fill earliest.

Because dinner is already inside the park, there is no hurrying in from a hotel before the show.

The stretch from Halloween through the new year brings the busiest show nights of all.

In the fall, the separate-ticket Oogie Boogie Bash takes over the park on select evenings, and the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party is a reservation of its own.

Good to know

Park admission is required, since both the restaurant and the show are inside Disney California Adventure.

The restaurant also takes ordinary reservations without the show, so make sure you are booking the package rather than a standard table.

When a package frees up

Returned packages tend to show up in the days before a date, and they do not stay listed for long.
