World of Color Dessert Party reservations and alerts
Reserved seating in the World of Color viewing area at Paradise Gardens Park, with desserts and savory bites before the show. It is the show without a sit-down dinner, and popular nights sell out well ahead.

“Park Drop consistently found Disney dining reservations we couldn’t get ourselves.” — Emily M.
Dessert with a view of the water
The party puts you at a table in the preferred viewing area for World of Color, the nighttime water and light show over Paradise Bay.
The spread mixes sweets with savory small bites such as charcuterie and cheese, plus drinks, and you help yourself while you wait for the show.
Seating is communal, at standard tables or high-tops, so smaller groups may share with another party.
Everyone in your party needs a package to enter the viewing area, including anyone who does not plan to eat.
Dessert party or dining package?
The dining packages at Wine Country Trattoria and Storytellers Cafe pair a full restaurant meal with a place to watch.
The dessert party skips the restaurant: Your booking is the viewing area itself, with the food served there. If the show matters more than dinner, it is usually the better fit.
How the evening runs
Your reservation time is for the party, not the show. The performance follows about 45 minutes later and may be the first, second or only one of the night.
You check in on your phone, then text messages tell you which entrance to use and when your table is ready.
Admission and a park reservation for Disney California Adventure on the same day are required and are not part of the price.
When a sold-out night opens up
Canceling later than a day ahead costs a per-person fee, so changed plans usually come back at least a day before the party.
Watching several nights at once gives an alert far more chances than holding out for a single date.
Park Drop watches every date you choose and sends an email and text the moment a seat opens for your party size.
World of Color Dessert Party reservation FAQs
What is included in the World of Color Dessert Party?
Reserved seating in the World of Color preferred viewing area, plus desserts, savory small bites and drinks. Disney’s site has the current menu, which changes for the holiday season.
Do I need a park ticket for the dessert party?
Yes. It is inside Disney California Adventure, so everyone 3 and older needs admission and a park reservation for that park on the same day.
Is it the same as the World of Color Dining Package?
No. The dining package includes a restaurant meal, while the dessert party serves its food in the viewing area. They are booked separately, with separate availability.
When should I arrive for the dessert party?
Mobile check-in opens two hours before your reservation time. Arrive on time and wait for the text that invites you to your entrance.
Can children come to the World of Color Dessert Party?
Yes, with an adult throughout. Children 2 and under can sit on an adult’s lap at no charge.
Can Park Drop alert me when a World of Color Dessert Party seat opens?
Yes. Pick your dates and party size above, and Park Drop sends an email and text as soon as a matching reservation appears, with a link to book.
